Required Skills:
Active RN license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2 years of acute care or emergency department experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Proficiency in computer systems, electronic health records, and web-based applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and adapt to evolving situations
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., trauma, critical care)
Experience working with diverse patient populations and multitasking in high-pressure scenarios
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse communities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
2+ years of ER or high-acuity inpatient experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to work the 12-hour shift from midnight to midnight (24-hour coverage)
Willingness to adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Must be comfortable with exposure to blood, body fluids, and biohazards within a healthcare setting
Certifications required or preferred will be maintained throughout employment
