We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care at the University of Kansas Hospital - Main Campus. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting
Level 1 trauma experience
Familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neurospine, or ex lap procedures
Scrubbing experience in a surgical environment
Valid RN license for Kansas or a Compact State
BLS certification
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Trauma, Gynecology, Urology, or Plastics
Additional certifications or specialized training relevant to surgical specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
ADN required, BSN preferred
Proven ability to work effectively in high-acuity, trauma environments
Experience with robotic surgeries and complex surgical procedures
Other Requirements:
Must float to all Operating Rooms as necessary
On-call availability up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
Ability to work scheduled days from 06:30 to 15:00, Monday through Friday, with no weekend rotation
Flexibility to cover holidays when scheduled, with pay adjustments accordingly
This is a nicotine-free facility
Estimated weekly hours: 40 hours
Start date: September 7, 2025
