What You'll Do:
Bring your expertise to a Level 1 trauma center, specializing in cardiac surgeries and circulatory care. You will perform scrub and circulating duties on complex cardiovascular operating room cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. Your contributions will be essential in a dynamic team committed to excellence and compassionate healthcare delivery.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma setting
Recent strong scrub experience in cardiac surgeries
Circulating experience in cardiac procedures
Valid Kansas RN license
BLS certification
Proven ability to handle high-stakes surgical environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in ORs such as Bell OR, Cambridge OR, or SPD
Prior experience with floating assignments
Knowledge of hospital protocols for high-acuity surgeries
Flexible availability for weekend, holiday, and on-call duties
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid Kansas RN license
At least 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
Recent scrubbing and circulating experience in cardiac surgeries
Experience in trauma or high-acuity settings
Other Requirements:
Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00
Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with a schedule for 40 hours
Weekend rotations and holiday shifts required
On-call about once per month
Nicotine-free facility
Willingness to adhere to facility-specific policies, including a no-smoking requirement
Compensation rate of $120 per hour before administrative fees
Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit
Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other authorized expenses
The facility reserves the right to cancel up to two shifts per month with a minimum of two hours' notice without penalty
