What You'll Bring:
Valid Kansas RN license with current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
Completion of fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months.
Strong clinical skills with at least 2 years of labor, delivery, and postpartum (LDR) experience; 3+ years preferred, along with 1 year of travel nursing experience.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing patient needs.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Nice to Have:
Experience with float nursing, covering multiple units as needed.
Additional certifications or training relevant to maternal care.
Prior experience working in busy or high-volume facilities.
Preferred Education & Experience:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Minimum of 2 years of LDR experience; 3 or more years of relevant experience is highly advantageous.
One year of travel nursing experience highly preferred to ensure seamless integration into diverse environments.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Flexibility to participate in weekend rotations every other week.
On-call responsibilities: 2-3 shifts per month, with willingness to remain available during low census periods.
Must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility.
Willingness to obtain or maintain certifications as required.
Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable.
