Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights) Glens Falls, NY
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Temp Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry for night shifts in Glens Falls, NY. Required Skills:
Valid NY RN license
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
EPIC EHR proficiency (must have experience)
Ability to interpret and document cardiac rhythms accurately
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with remote tele units
Prior experience in adult and geriatric patient populations
Knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
Prior travel or agency nursing experience
Familiarity with tele/cardiac patient care
Other Requirements:
NY Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (must be uploaded on submission)
Compliance with state and facility-specific onboarding requirements, including Welle or CPI training
Completion of 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
Ability to work nights and adhere to unit dress code (scrubs of any color, no designs or cartoons)
Availability for a minimum of 5 days off request; no post-upload RTO requests accepted
COVID vaccination encouraged but not mandatory
Must follow all departmental policies and safety procedures
