Required Skills:
Valid RN license with current state licensure.
Experience in operating room settings, handling a variety of surgical cases including ENT, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joints, Fractures, Endoscopy (laparoscopic and GI scopes), Cesarean sections, Pain Management procedures, Urology, and general surgeries.
Ability to work comfortably in PACU environments.
Strong understanding of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient monitoring.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently by clearing background checks and onboarding processes.
Nice to Have Skills:
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience with specialized procedures such as stimulator placement, kyphoplasty, RFA, and pain pumps.
Prior experience in call rotation and weekend shifts.
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
A minimum of 2 years’ operating room nursing experience covering a range of surgical specialties.
Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work Mon-Fri from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with possible call and weekend shifts.
Ability to start as soon as possible, with flexibility to move start dates earlier if needed.
Valid BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
Compliance with all safety, health, and hospital policies.
