We are looking for compassionate and skilled RN professionals to provide exceptional patient care during night shifts, collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes. What You Will Do:
Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans to restore patients to health.
Deliver bedside nursing care, execute medical orders accurately, and oversee delegated tasks for Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other support staff.
Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, modifying approaches as needed to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Assume leadership responsibilities by integrating evidence-based practices, coordinating patient care activities, and guiding team members.
Facilitate patient education and discharge planning, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
Mentor and precept new staff and students, fostering professional growth across the team.
Communicate complex information clearly and effectively, demonstrating strong organizational and planning skills.
Required Skills:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license active in the state of Michigan.
Proven experience in ICU or acute care settings.
Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to delegate responsibly and coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and organizational skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Prior experience in a leadership or preceptor role.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred.
At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
Other Requirements:
Must have and maintain current state licensure and certifications.
Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $54.94, with weekly pay via direct deposit. We provide a supportive work environment with competitive pay packages, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
