In this role, you'll coordinate and deliver pre-operative assessments and preparations, ensuring patients are fully ready for their surgical procedures. Your work will help facilitate smooth surgeries and positive patient experiences, making a meaningful difference in the clinical journey.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty (e.g., Med Surg, Pre-Op, Surgical Nursing)
Valid and current RN license
BLS certification required
NIHSS and ACLS certifications preferred
Strong IV skills and excellent patient assessment abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform accurately under pressure and adhere to safety protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience working in surgical or pre-operative settings
Knowledge of hospital protocols and perioperative procedures
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
At least 2 years of specialized nursing experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
No local candidates within 50 miles; candidates should be prepared for the scheduled hours of 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory; NIHSS and ACLS are preferred
Willingness to accommodate hospital policies and adhere to safety standards
Travel or licensing reimbursements available as applicable
This position offers competitive pay at $45.90 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
