Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse eager to make a meaningful impact while exploring new environments? We are seeking motivated Travel RN professionals to provide exceptional care in Med Surg and Orthopedic units on daytime shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your nursing career, gain diverse clinical experience, and enjoy the flexibility of travel assignments, starting February 11, 2025.
In this critical role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with orthopedic needs, joint replacements, fractures, shoulders, and podiatry cases. You will work independently within a supportive team, managing a patient load with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and have the chance to develop your clinical skills further. Your contribution will be key in ensuring optimal patient outcomes while experiencing the varied and dynamic environments of our healthcare facilities.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in your state of employment or a Compact license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in Med Surg or Orthopedics preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient management abilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or ortho-specific training
Prior travel nursing experience
Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Med Surg or Orthopedic nursing
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on 02/11/2025
Ability to commit to full-time, day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Willingness to work every other week on call, with rotating float responsibilities to Medical-Surgical Telemetry units if needed
