Required Skills:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA
Current Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency or related nursing specialty preferred
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
Excellent documentation and patient education skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with trauma, stroke, or cardiac care
Multilingual abilities to communicate with diverse patient populations
Prior experience with floating across multiple departments or facilities
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
At least one year of emergency or trauma nursing experience
Other Requirements:
Availability to work multiple night shifts, with flexibility to cover in-time between 3 pm and 7 pm
Willingness to work six weekends per six-week schedule and participate in on-call shifts (2 per six weeks)
Ability to float as needed, though unlikely due to census
Commitment to continuous professional development through annual competency verification
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $60.30, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, generous referral bonuses, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and other incentives.
