Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Mostly 7 on/7 off, with optional rotations)

Licensure/Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB, TNCC (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience, strong EKG competency

What You’ll Do
Provide acute emergency care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, geriatrics, cardiac, diabetic, trauma, and stroke patients.
Manage patient assessments, including IV starts, chest tube management, defibrillation, and stroke/NIHSS evaluations.
Support complex procedures such as NGT insertion and ICU-level drip management.
Collaborate with ED team members, including physicians, techs, and support staff, to deliver timely, high-quality care.
Maintain compliance with all protocols, including EKG competency and patient safety standards.
Document patient care accurately using EMR systems.
Respond effectively to emergency situations and adapt to high-pressure environment demands.
What You Need
Valid Louisiana RN license or multi-state license in good standing.
Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, CPI or MOAB.
Proficiency in emergency procedures, including EKG interpretation, IV access, and critical care interventions.
Ability to work night shifts and flexible rotations.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
