Registered Nurse - ER (Bossier City, LA) | 12H Nights
Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading healthcare facility in Bossier City, Louisiana? Licensure/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience; first-time travelers must have 2+ years of perm staff RN experience in acute care
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $50.25 per hour

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients of all ages, from infants to end-of-life cases
Manage up to 4 patients per nurse, with acuity-based assignments
Administer emergency treatments including ventilator management, critical care drips, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
Support trauma stabilization and coordinate transfers to specialized facilities as needed
Collaborate with hospitalist, physicians, RTs, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Follow protocols for stroke, cardiac, neurological, trauma, and infectious disease cases
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain
Minimum 2 years ER or emergency department experience
Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB
Ability to perform EKG competency exam prior to start
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
