Hourly Pay: $46.90/hour

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including infants through end-of-life
Manage patients with acuity levels ranging from MedSurg to ICU, including trauma stabilization
Perform ventilator management and handle critical care drips/titration
Interpret cardiac rhythms and measure cardiac strips
Utilize hemodynamic lines such as Art lines and CVP
Support stroke patients, assist with conscious sedation, and perform procedures like splinting and chest tube management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, hospitalists, and RTs
Document all patient interactions accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR
What You Need
Active Louisiana RN license
Minimum 2 years ER experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
Strong critical care and triage skills
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
