Hours/Week: 36-40 hours (schedule varies)

License/Certs: Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience; trauma and critical care experience preferred

What You’ll Do
Provide direct emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in the ED setting
Manage a diverse caseload including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and medical emergencies
Administer medications, IV therapy, and critical care treatments, including ventilator management and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Perform assessments, document patient care progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Support in emergency procedures like conscious sedation, TPA administration, and spinal precautions
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
Respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
What You Need
Required:
Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
At least 2 years of ER or ED experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
Skills in ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac interpretation, and emergency procedures
Preferred:
Trauma experience and TPA administration knowledge
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to placement
