Required Skills
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric or mental health settings
Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, medications, and treatment plans
Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
Compassionate, patient-centric approach to care
Nice to Have Skills
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with patient stabilization and crisis intervention
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
Prior experience in inpatient psychiatric units or mental health facilities
Other Requirements
Orientation scheduled for 1/28/2026
Ability to work in a unit with 22 beds, current census of 12
Weekly schedule with guaranteed hours
Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed
Additional certifications or travel reimbursements as applicable
