Required Skills:
Valid Maryland (MA) permanent license
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pediatric nursing
Proficient in adult med-surg experience
BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience working in busy pediatric units
Knowledge of additional pediatric healthcare protocols
Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse license from an accredited program
At least 3 years of pediatric nursing experience
Experience with ventilated patients or in intensive care settings is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Must provide proof of COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
Orientation scheduled for 1/6 and 1/27
Must have adult med-surg experience
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Bed capacity: 8 beds per unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3
Ability to work flexible hours and adhere to facility standards
