What You Will Bring:
Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU RN experience, with solid knowledge of managing cardiac and medical stepdown patients.
Strong proficiency in titrating cardiac drips, insulin, vasopressors, and managing various drains, tubes, and devices.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; LVAD certification is a plus.
Ability to pass a comprehensive EKG competency exam prior to start.
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
Experience with LVAD management.
Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR and related equipment.
Ability to adapt to floating between units, including Medical Stepdown and MedSurg.
Knowledge in managing venous sheaths, TR Bands, and temporary pacemakers.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a hospital setting, specifically in PCU or equivalent acute care environment.
Prior experience with cardiac patients such as post-CABG, PCI, or TAVR is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Cardiac skills certification, with LVAD preferred (for 2W unit).
Must be able to work scheduled shifts including every other weekend, and 2-3 major holidays per year.
Willingness to work 4 days one week and 3 days the next, with flexibility for up to 7 days of time off per contract.
No on-call responsibilities; work in a supportive, diverse, traveler-friendly environment.

Starting on May 4, 2026, this full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50.25, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
