Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse ready to advance your career in a fast-paced, critical care environment? We are seeking compassionate and skilled RNs to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing vital support to patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-procedural care. This opportunity offers a dynamic, collaborative setting where your expertise can significantly impact patient recovery and outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
Valid RN license and current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Strong clinical skills including CVL management, foley cath care, tube feedings, arterial lines, and drip titration (Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin)
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam as part of compliance
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between units, including Stroke and Med/Surg, with adaptability to changing staffing needs
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
Prior experience in units managing respiratory and cardiovascular cases
Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support or specialized procedures
Educational and Experience Preferences:
Minimum two years of recent, full-time RN experience in a hospital setting
BSN preferred but not mandatory
Other Requirements:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including every other weekend, and 3/2 or 5/2 rotations
No call responsibilities; availability for scheduled shifts only
Must adhere to professional standards, including dress code (pewter scrubs, gray/white/black shirts), badge visibility, and workplace conduct
Parking available in designated free areas
Must maintain a high level of professionalism and patient confidentiality
