Required Skills:
Valid MA RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience
Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
Additional certifications such as CNOR
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
Travel nursing background preferred but not essential
Other Requirements:
Commitment to a shift schedule that covers weekends and day shifts (06:30-17:00)
Ability to participate in rotating weekend call (every 6th weekend) and bi-monthly on-call duties
Travel experience preferred; local rate is $8 less per hour
Start date: January 26, 2026
Hourly pay rate: $62.65
Travel and certification reimbursements as applicable
Coverage includes 4X10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday), totaling 40 hours per week
