Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care, where you'll play a vital role in providing expert care to our most vulnerable patients—high-risk neonates. This opportunity offers a pivotal chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-volume, fast-paced environment committed to excellence and compassionate care.

In this role, you will utilize advanced nursing skills to care for neonates during high-risk deliveries and in a Level-2 nursery. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll engage in ongoing education and contribute to initiatives aimed at elevating patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel within scope of practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and hospital quality improvement projects.
  • Provide patient and family education to support understanding and involvement in care.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all findings, plans, and evaluations in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Support the development of staff through mentoring and preceptorship.
  • Provide coverage for Mother/Baby and Labor & Delivery units as needed.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Massachusetts nursing license.
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
  • NRP certification.
  • Prior experience in neonatal or special care nursing.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience attending deliveries in a neonatal or high-risk obstetrical setting.
  • Previous experience floating to postpartum units.
  • Additional neonatal certifications (e.g., CAP neonatal resuscitation).

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • At least 1-2 years of previous neonatal or pediatric nursing experience.
  • Experience working night shifts and in high-acuity care environments.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on or before 09/02/2026.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
  • Willingness to float to postpartum units when needed.
  • Travel experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

This role offers an hourly rate of $64.52, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick time, licensure, certification reimbursement, and more. If you are a compassionate, skilled nurse ready to make a difference in neonatal care, we encourage you to apply today and take the next step in your professional journey.
