Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - ICU and Make a Difference

You will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients with diverse diagnoses, including STEMI, respiratory distress, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-surgical cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU experience
Demonstrated proficiency in art line management, central line management, NIHSS, EVD drains, and chest tubes
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
Past experience floating between units such as stroke, step-down, or med-surg
Ability to manage high patient acuity and complex diagnoses
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, especially for first-time travelers
Prior experience managing critically ill or post-surgical patients
Other Requirements:
Certification in NIH and passing an EKG competency exam
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and 5/2 rotation
Willingness to float to Med-Surg units as needed, with patient ratios up to 1:6 when floated
Complete hospital orientation plus two unit-specific shifts
Must be separated from previous employment for at least one year if previously a permanent staff RN
No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract, with manager approval
Comfortable working in PPE and following infection control protocols
Competitive hourly pay rate of $50.25, coupled with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, a robust referral bonus program, and paid sick time in compliance with applicable laws. Additional reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses are provided when applicable.
