Are you a dedicated and experienced ER nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, patient-centered environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional emergency care in a fast-paced setting. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2+ years recent Emergency Department experience in acute care settings
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, CPI or MOAB
Proficient in EKG interpretation and competency assessment
Skilled in IV starts, multitasking, continuous patient monitoring, and assessing patient severity
Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Trauma or stroke certification
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
Ability to handle a high volume of patient visits (85-95 per day)
Experience working with diverse patient populations, including neonatal to geriatric
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active RN license
2+ years of recent ED nursing experience
Previous travel nursing experience is advantageous but first-time travelers must have at least 2 years of permanent staff RN experience in acute care
Other Requirements:
Pass an EKG competency exam prior to placement
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and a 5/2 rotation
No floating to other units
Willingness to work every Wednesday/Thursday shift
Up to 7 days of paid time off (RTO) with proper extension; limited to one weekend request per 13-week contract
Scrub color: Pewter; uniforms must adhere to dress code
Parking available at no cost
