We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Registered Dietitian to provide essential nutritional services at a hospital in Texas This pivotal role involves assessing patient nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote optimal health outcomes. Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited institution
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the National Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Texas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with physicians, staff, patients, and families
Ability to complete electronic medical record documentation accurately
Knowledge of healthcare standards, including Joint Commission, CMS, HHSC policies, and procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
Familiarity with electronic health records systems
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and hospital needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is advantageous
Certification as a Licensed Dietitian in Texas
Other Requirements:
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
Successful completion of drug testing and fingerprinting as mandated by HHSC
Willingness to work primarily during standard business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday); shift adjustments may occur
Telework option available; no holiday, after-hours, or weekend shifts required
