Registered Nurse - Cath Lab travelers needed for a busy cardiology program with a consistent 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (M–F) schedule plus rotating call. What You’ll Do
Provide circulating, monitoring, and/or scrubbing support in the cath lab based on unit needs and case requirements
Support cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist with critical patient assessment
Maintain sterile technique and support procedural workflow in complex cath lab cases
Administer therapies including vasoactive and sedation medications as indicated by protocol
Assist with procedures and equipment commonly used in advanced interventional cardiology (as applicable to your experience)
What You Need
Required
RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Valid Driver’s License (required to float between facilities)
At least 1 year RN experience
At least 1 year Cath Lab experience within the last year
Ability to scrub and/or monitor and contribute in multiple functions (circulating/scrubbing/monitoring depending on cases)
Preferred
Experience with a broad mix of advanced structural/cardiac and peripheral cases (e.g., STEMI, complex total occlusions, TAVR/MitraClip, and other interventional cath lab procedures)
About the Assignment
This traveler role floats routinely across nearby Willis Knighton facilities in the Shreveport, LA and Bossier City, LA areas. The program supports advanced cardiac care and complex diagnostic and interventional procedures, with hybrid capability and anesthesia support for hybrid cases. Ratios are 1:1, and the schedule typically follows M–F 0700–1530 with rotating call/overnight coverage.
