What You’ll Do
Provide direct patient care in the PACU following standards and best practices
Assess patients’ recovery from anesthesia, monitor vital signs, and manage pain
Collaborate with anesthesia and medical teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
Educate patients and families on post-procedure care instructions
Document care activities accurately in electronic medical records
Maintain safety protocols to prevent complications or adverse events
Support a team environment focused on optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in the state of practice
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or similar setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
Clinical specialty certifications
