What You’ll Do
Lead the provision of patient care using the nursing process and within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable Scope & Standards of Practice
Assess patients, identify learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for patients and families
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to support safe, high-quality outcomes
Manage and communicate nursing team resources appropriately as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team
Use data and clinical knowledge to evaluate outcomes and promote positive change
Support customer satisfaction and staff morale through professional, collaborative behaviors
Demonstrate cultural, ethnic, and religious sensitivity while maintaining professional responsibility and accountability
What You Need
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2+ years of experience
Current RN license in the state of practice
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)
PALS (American Heart Association)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Certification in clinical specialty area
