What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for a progressive/critical unit (PCU) with frequent monitoring needs
Manage patients with complex conditions including respiratory failure, CVA, DKA, sepsis, post-surgical care, CIWA (ETOH), IVDA/AMS, and more
Deliver safe medication and infusion therapy, including titrating cardiac drips and some vasopressor titration as applicable
Support advanced bedside interventions such as insulin drips, venous sheath management, central line management, tracheostomy care, feeding tubes, BiPAP, chest tubes, wound care, and blood products
Coordinate care using the facility’s standard systems (EMR/med systems noted by the assignment)
Complete required pre-arrival compliance steps, including an EKG competency exam prior to arrival

Current ACLS
1–2 years of recent relevant RN experience (PCU/stepdown critical care environment preferred)
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
Preferred
NIHSS certification (preferred)
