Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am)
Hours/week: 36 hours
Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
Licenses/Certifications: Current Louisiana RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience; Telemetry experience preferred
Pay Rate: $46.90/hour

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality care to telemetry patients with various conditions, including post-op, sepsis, CHF, COPD, and COVID-19 cases
Monitor patient vitals and recognize emergency situations promptly
Manage wound care, JP drains, wound vacs, and IV catheters
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members including hospitalists, RT, PT, and OT
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
Float to different Med/Surg units as needed, supporting hospital operations
Participate in pre-employment EKG competency testing and unit orientation
What You Need
Required:
Valid Louisiana RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care settings
Ability to pass EKG competency exam
Skills in wound management, IV therapy, and patient assessment
Preferred:
Telemetry experience
Experience with post-op and complex patient conditions
