Support hemodynamic monitoring and critical patient assessment during procedures
Assist with complex cases such as STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions (CTO), TAVR, MitraClip, and more
Administer therapies as indicated (including vasoactive and sedation administration)
Maintain sterile technique and safe, accurate procedural support throughout the case
What You Need
Required
Valid RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
3 years RN experience
At least 1.5 years Cath Lab experience within the last year
Ability to scrub and/or monitor and circulate (must do more than only circulating)
Valid driver’s license (required to float between facilities)
Preferred
Candidates comfortable with a broad range of cath lab case types (please list cases you’ve scrubbed)
About the Assignment
This role supports a cath lab environment treating complex cardiac and vascular conditions, including coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures and advanced structural heart services. The RN will float between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier, with additional backup coverage for WKMC North for more complex cases.
Typical schedule: Monday–Friday 0700–1530 with rotating call.
Call: Rotating call with 2 overnight call days per week (1500–0700) and every 3rd weekend (Friday 1500 to Monday 0700)
Call back period:30 minutes
Holiday expectations: done in rotation
Orientation:1 week at Innovation Center + up to 1 week of precepting/unit orientation
Training/Equipment environment: EMR Meditech Expanse; Pyxis; Alaris IV pumps; Merge hemodynamic monitoring; Philips imaging systems
