What You Will Do:
Provide expert nursing care tailored to patients undergoing catheterization procedures and cardiac interventions.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
Maintain strict adherence to clinical standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
Educate patients and families, discharge planning, and document care meticulously.
Required Skills:
Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact license.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Proven experience in a Cath Lab or acute care setting.
Strong assessment skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Point of Care testing procedures.
Ability to float across different units or hospitals.
Familiarity with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited RN program.
1+ years of cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
Available for 4-day shifts, 10 hours each, with a start date of 05/25/2026.
On-call responsibilities with 1-2 weekends per month.
Willingness to travel and adapt to various hospital locations within the region.
