What You Will Do:
As a Travel RN in the Operating Room, you will deliver high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will help ensure patient safety and comfort during critical moments, all while working weekdays from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and adventure.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
BLS certification from AHA (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification from AHA
Strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing and surgical patient care
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and coordinate with surgical teams
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience in operating rooms or surgical units
Additional certifications such as CNOR or site-specific certifications
Bilingual abilities for diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
At least 1-2 years of perioperative or surgical nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Weekend and on-call availability required to ensure round-the-clock patient care
Willingness to travel and adapt to various healthcare settings and locations
