What You’ll Bring:
Valid RN license for New Mexico or a current Compact state license, with active BLS certification via AHA.
ACLS certification is required to handle complex cases.
At least 1 year of experience in surgical or perioperative nursing preferred.
Strong clinical assessment skills, independence, and the ability to adapt swiftly to dynamic environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience.
Familiarity with various surgical procedures and protocols.
Additional certifications related to perioperative care or patient safety.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.
Minimum one year of relevant surgical or OR nursing experience.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to float to other units or locations as needed.
No weekend or on-call requirements, but flexibility for overtime if cases extend beyond scheduled hours.
Ability to start as soon as possible, with a smooth onboarding process.
