Licenses/Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available at facility for $100)

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality patient care in ICU, including ICU-specific tasks like lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
Operate advanced ICU equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines, Servo I ventilators, Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors, and GE monitors
Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those on Impella and CRRT/NXSTage devices (hardstop requirements)
Floats to all ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed, with patient ratios typically 1:2, sometimes 1:3 or 1:4
Ensure safety and compliance in all aspects of patient care, including isolation precautions and Covid-19 protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Current Louisiana RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
At least 2 years of ICU experience, with CVICU experience highly preferred
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
Ability to float across ICU and related units as required
Strong clinical skills in critical care procedures and monitoring
