Shift: Day Shift (06:45 - 18:45), 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
Hours/Week: 36 hours
Employment Type: Contract / Travel Assignment
Experience: 2+ years CVOR and General OR experience required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (CPI can be obtained at facility for $100)
Licenses: Active RN license in Louisiana or willing to obtain
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $70.35/hr
Pay Package includes: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), licensure and certification reimbursements, travel and lodging reimbursements when applicable

What You’ll Do:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for CVOR and general OR patients
Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, including bypass, valve repairs, and related procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures
Follow all hospital protocols and infection control standards
Document patient care activities accurately within electronic healthcare records (Epic experience preferred)
Ensure compliance with safety and operating room standards
What You Need:
Active RN license in Louisiana or ability to license promptly
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR and general surgery OR experience
Certification in ACLS, BLS, and CPI (or willing to obtain CPI on-site)
Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and patient care standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Epic EMR experience
Previous travel or contract experience in acute surgical settings
