Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical (Med Surg) team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a respected healthcare facility committed to delivering high-quality patient care. The RN will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in a structured orientation program, including practical hands-on training and simulation exercises to develop clinical proficiency.
Deliver safe, effective patient care under the supervision of experienced nurses, following established protocols and clinical guidelines.
Utilize simulation training to enhance clinical decision-making skills and confidence in a controlled environment.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and promptly report significant changes to the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, post-treatment care, medication management, and preventive health strategies.
Assist with clinical procedures, management of medical equipment, and ensuring a safe environment for patients.
Accurately document all patient care activities in electronic medical records in a timely manner.
Engage in continuous professional development through mentorship, feedback, workshops, seminars, and educational programs.
Uphold strict confidentiality standards and adhere to all legal, ethical, and institutional policies governing nursing practice.
Provide compassionate responses to patient requests and concerns, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and care efficiency.
Develop leadership and teamwork skills through exposure to various nursing roles and specialties.
Qualifications:
Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate ranges from $34.18 to $50, depending on education and experience.
Eligible for sign-on bonus and agency placement fee.
