Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalized care to oncology patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with clinical protocols and best practices.
Administer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other oncologic treatments, monitoring patient responses and managing side effects.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Provide comprehensive emotional and psychological support to patients, families, and caregivers, fostering a compassionate and respectful environment.
Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Supervise and mentor assigned nursing staff and support team members to promote clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and institutional policies.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient care activities.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Prior experience in oncology nursing preferred but not mandatory; willingness to undergo specialized training.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and handle complex clinical situations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rate range of $31.78 to $47.00, commensurate with education and experience.
Eligible for a sign-on bonus.
