What You’ll Do
Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders in collaboration with the care team, including physicians.
Develop and implement a plan of care designed to support the patient’s return to optimal health.
Coordinate and delegate nursing tasks and assignments to appropriate team members.
Lead and participate in patient conferences to support care planning and updates.
Identify and communicate patient discharge/transfer education needs to the appropriate resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and contribute to ongoing adjustments as needed.
Support professional growth and help mentor/precept new staff and students as assigned.
What You Need
Required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Ability to collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver bedside care
Strong communication and organizational skills for care planning and delegation
Preferred
ICU experience (not specified as required)
Prior experience mentoring or guiding other nursing/ancillary personnel (not specified as required)
About the Assignment
Join an ICU environment focused on delivering evidence-based bedside care and coordinated planning to support complex patient outcomes. You’ll work closely with the physician team and nursing staff to ensure orders are carried out, the plan of care remains effective, and patient needs—including discharge and transfer education—are addressed.
