What You’ll Do:
Deliver expert nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Respond decisively to emergencies with professionalism and compassion
Maintain accurate documentation and utilize technology to support clinical decisions
Participate in on-call rotations, weekend shifts (minimum every other weekend), and holidays (minimum 2 major, 2 minor)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong computer skills and proficiency with clinical technology
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment
Ability to respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently
Time management skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
Epic electronic health record experience
Previous experience in labor and delivery or maternal care
Knowledge of hospital protocols and emergency response procedures
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN), Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior experience with direct patient care in an acute setting preferred
Additional Requirements:
Night shift availability from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
Willingness to work varying days of the week
A completed Wellstar cover sheet for each submission
Minimum of 70 BR (Bedside Rounding) score
Must be willing to obtain required certifications if not already in hand
