What You’ll Do:
Deliver expert preoperative and postoperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR environment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Respond efficiently to emergencies with professionalism and compassion
Maintain compliance with all certification and procedural standards
Required Skills:
Valid RN license (Single State RN or Multi-state Compact RN)
BLS certification (Basic Life Support by ARC or equivalent)
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong computer skills to leverage technology in patient care
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
Critical thinking, time management, and the ability to perform confidently in high-pressure situations
Experience with direct patient care, with less than one year of clinical experience acceptable
Nice to Have Skills:
Epic EHR experience
Comfort working varied shifts and on-call rotations
Familiarity with perioperative protocols and procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Prior surgical or perioperative nursing experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work four 10-hour day shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
Must be available for up to 3 days of leave (RTO request)
Certification packet must indicate willingness to obtain any required certifications not yet held
Completed Wellstar cover sheet required for submission
US work authorization; travel and reimbursements applicable as noted
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay rate of $46.90
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit
