What You’ll Do:
As an OR RN, you'll provide vital perioperative care to our patients, supporting surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and responding swiftly to emergent needs. Your role is essential in helping our hospital deliver top-tier surgical services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Current RN license in a single state or multi-state compact (RN-COMPACT)
BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Proficient in using healthcare technology and basic computer skills
Critical thinker with excellent time management skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and responding to emergencies decisively
Evidence-based practice and analytical skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a surgical or perioperative setting
Knowledge of Epic electronic medical records system
Prior on-call and holiday coverage experience
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Less than one year of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Additional Requirements:
Day shift availability: Friday through Sunday, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
On-call duties as needed
Minimum of two major and two minor holidays per year
Successful completion of required certifications prior to start
Complete Wellstar cover sheet for each application
Compensation & Benefits Include:
Competitive hourly pay rate of $46.90
Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit
