Join Our Team as a Radiology Unit (X-Ray & CT) Technician – Make a Critical Impact in Patient Care

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Unit (X-Ray & CT) Technician to join our team, providing essential imaging services that significantly influence patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality X-Ray and CT imaging procedures with precision and efficiency.
  • Operate Siemens Definition Edge, AGFA XR, Siemens Mobilette portable, and AGFA portable equipment.
  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive imaging services.
  • Manage on-call duties for stroke and spinal cord compression cases, ensuring rapid response when needed.

Required Skills:
  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Active AZ State License for both XR and CT.
  • Proven experience in performing X-Ray and CT imaging procedures.
  • Strong understanding of imaging safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with Siemens or AGFA imaging equipment.
  • Experience in emergency or inpatient radiology settings.
  • Additional certifications such as Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience in a hospital or imaging center environment.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work a 7-on, 7-off schedule, including night shifts: Friday (14 hours), Saturday and Sunday (13 hours), and Monday-Thursday (10 hours).
  • Flexibility to be on-call after each shift for emergencies involving strokes and spinal cord compression.
  • Willingness to maintain licensure and stay current with continuing education.
