Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic mobile imaging team. In this role, you will provide essential X-ray and EKG services to a diverse range of healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and other care environments. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to patient care in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform high-quality X-ray examinations, ensuring images are clinically diagnostic and technically accurate.
Transport, unload, and set up portable X-ray equipment at designated facilities to perform physician-ordered imaging exams.
Capture diagnostic images efficiently, transmitting them securely for radiologist review and interpretation.
Perform EKGs when required, transmitting results promptly to cardiologists for analysis.
Scan and manage exam documentation and billing paperwork daily, maintaining accurate records.
Communicate professionally with dispatch, facility staff, and management to coordinate service logistics and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain and troubleshoot portable equipment and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned vehicle.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
Qualifications:
ARRT Certification required.
Valid state licensure reimbursement provided after 90 days of employment.
Proven experience in portable radiography and EKG procedures strongly preferred.
Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50-100 lbs., with equipment handling assistance such as ramps and pulleys.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently in a mobile environment and manage time effectively.
