Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray (Perm, Mobile Service)

Location: East Bay/San Francisco, CA

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $34.84 per hour

Certification Requirement: ARRT Certification

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic mobile imaging team. In this role, you will provide essential X-ray and EKG services to a diverse range of healthcare facilities, including nursing homes and other care environments. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to patient care in a fast-paced, supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform high-quality X-ray examinations, ensuring images are clinically diagnostic and technically accurate.
  • Transport, unload, and set up portable X-ray equipment at designated facilities to perform physician-ordered imaging exams.
  • Capture diagnostic images efficiently, transmitting them securely for radiologist review and interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs when required, transmitting results promptly to cardiologists for analysis.
  • Scan and manage exam documentation and billing paperwork daily, maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, facility staff, and management to coordinate service logistics and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot portable equipment and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned vehicle.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
Qualifications:
  • ARRT Certification required.
  • Valid state licensure reimbursement provided after 90 days of employment.
  • Proven experience in portable radiography and EKG procedures strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50-100 lbs., with equipment handling assistance such as ramps and pulleys.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile environment and manage time effectively.
