Position Overview:
Join our dedicated radiology team at TUKHS-Great Bend Campus as a Radiologic Technologist. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging services. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients appropriately for radiologic procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
Ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis, including proper positioning, exposure, and image processing.
Assist in maintaining the radiation safety program and adhere to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Document procedures accurately in patient records and communicate effectively with medical staff regarding imaging findings.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed, notifying service personnel of any malfunctions.
Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the imaging process, demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of a recognized 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
Currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
BLS certification (AHA) is required.
Valid licensure with Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) within 90 days of hire.
Ability to accurately operate imaging equipment and follow safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
Familiarity with computer systems and electronic health records.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time position with flexible shift options, including 8-hour or 10-hour shifts (e.g., 9:00 AM–5:30 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM).
Rotation through weekdays and weekends, including on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
Compensation is competitive within the healthcare industry, with shift differentials applicable.

Additional Details:
This role does not require travel.
