In this role, you will prepare and operate advanced cath lab equipment, including fluoroscopy, digital imaging, and hemodynamic systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring procedural success, maintaining strict aseptic techniques, and supporting safe and efficient patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic healthcare aligned with our mission of dignity, integrity, excellence, and compassion.
Required Skills:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology school or healthcare-related associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
Valid Texas MRT or LMRT license
Knowledge of fluoroscopy, digital image acquisition, and cath lab equipment operation
Excellent aseptic techniques and patient safety practices
Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or other specialized radiologic or cardiovascular credentials
One year or less of acute care experience
Proficiency in invasive cardiovascular procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
Experience in electrophysiology or structural heart procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates degree in Radiology or related healthcare field (Bachelor’s preferred)
0-1 year of acute care experience in a cath lab or similar setting
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel and adapt to diverse healthcare environments
Ability to work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, including one weekend of call every four weeks and 1-2 days of weekly call
Commitment to organizational and patient safety standards
Valid Texas state licensure (MRT or LMRT)
