Position: Breast Radiologist (Outpatient Specialty) Location: Lafayette, LA – 1448 South College Road, Lafayette, LA 70503 Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-person, no call, no weekends) About the Role:
Join our dedicated Breast Radiology team at Lafayette’s outpatient facilities, providing specialized imaging services including screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, Breast MRI, and MRI-guided biopsies. This is an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified Breast Radiologist with a Breast Imaging Fellowship to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms
Conduct breast ultrasounds and guided biopsies (stereotactic and ultrasound-guided)
Manage Breast MRI procedures and MRI-guided biopsies
Provide consultative support to referring physicians and patients
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
American Board of Radiology-certified or eligible in Radiology
Completed a dedicated Breast Imaging Fellowship
Valid medical license in Louisiana or ability to obtain licensure in the state
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Credentials & Certification Requirements:
Full Coverage of Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Louisiana Professional Corporation Firm (LA PCF) coverage required for credentialing
