What You'll Do
  • Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing labs and operating critical imaging and hemodynamic equipment
  • Assist during complex procedures such as fluoro imaging, digital image acquisition, and intra-aortic balloon pump setup
  • Ensure strict aseptic techniques and patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document procedures, hemodynamic data, and patient information accurately
  • Maintain equipment functionality, perform daily room checks, and stock supplies
  • Act as radiation safety representative during X-ray procedures
  • Support patient transport and post-procedure care on the unit
  • Participate in department quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration

What You Need
  • Graduate from an accredited radiology or healthcare-related program; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA)
  • Valid state licensure (e.g., MRT or LMRT in Texas)
  • 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and patient safety focus
