Required Skills:
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Valid NYS license/registration in Radiologic Technology
Minimum of one year experience in CT and MRI as a radiologic technologist
Proficiency in operating radiologic and imaging equipment
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
Ability to position patients accurately and explain procedures clearly
Strong understanding of departmental procedures and safety standards
Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) for data entry and documentation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with other imaging modalities such as Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine
Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques
Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
At least one year of hands-on experience in CT scanning and MRI procedures
Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work day and evening shifts, including 8-hour shifts on assigned days
Successful pre-employment health clearance
Commitment to maintaining radiation safety and patient confidentiality
Ability to adapt to departmental protocols and procedures
