Key Responsibilities include administering radiation treatments, ensuring accurate delivery per prescribed protocols, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating effectively with medical teams to optimize treatment plans. The position requires adherence to all safety and regulatory standards while providing compassionate patient care.
Required Skills:
ARRT Certification (Therapy)
Valid Louisiana State License
BLS Certification
Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
Strong understanding of radiologic safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently within a team and independently
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in cardiology-related radiation treatments
Prior experience with emergency or relief team assignments
Familiarity with advanced radiation delivery techniques
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Sciences, or related field
At least 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience; first-time travelers are welcome
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in emergency response team assignments if needed
Availability to work day shift hours (07:00 – 17:30), with flexibility based on patient volume
Ability to travel when applicable, with reimbursements provided for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses
