Required Skills:
Associate degree in radiologic sciences; Bachelor’s preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Valid state licensure in radiologic sciences
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and cardiac diagnostic equipment
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with PACS and hospital information systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a high-stakes environment
Adept at monitoring patient vitals and ensuring radiation safety standards
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, weekends, holidays, and on-call hours
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and renal vascular procedures
Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and quality control procedures
Prior experience in interventional radiology or cardiology departments
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences or related field
At least 2 years of direct experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology settings
Relevant certifications and ongoing professional development in cardiovascular imaging
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly
Work in a patient-care environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including 24/7 availability, weekends, and holidays
Adherence to all federal, state, and local radiation and safety regulations
Valid licensure and certifications as specified are required for employment
