Key Skills and Qualifications:
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology or truly eligible within 5 years
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
Proficiency in external beam radiation techniques including 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, and IGRT (CBCT, Kv/Kv)
Familiarity with Varian Eclipse treatment planning software
Valid state medical license (IMLC accepted)
DEA certification
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, medical assistants, and advanced practice providers
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with MOSAIQ EMR system
Familiarity with hospital-based oncology departments
Additional certifications in specialized radiation procedures
Prior experience managing adult patient populations with complex oncological needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Residency or fellowship in Radiation Oncology
At least 2 years of recent clinical practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Willingness to obtain licensure through IMLC
Flexibility for travel as needed; travel expenses reimbursed, including flight, lodging, and rental car
Ability to commit to the scheduled 4-week assignment starting July 27, 2026
Eligible for 1.5x overtime pay after 40 hours per week, holiday pay at 1.5x rate for designated holidays
Available to work day shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), with night and weekend call coverage
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $331.50
Additional pay for OT, holidays, and travel reimbursements included in the benefits package.
